Call inviting researchers from Ukraine to Finland
Dear Colleagues,
Academy of Finland, which is the main funding agency for scientific research in Finland, opened the call for inviting researchers from Ukraine to Finland for the period up to 2 years. Indicative size of funding is €43,500/year for individual researcher, and €57,000/year for researcher with family.
I am glad to share this news with you and on behalf of the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR) to invite staff members in your organizations to participate in this call.
The call is designed so that the applicant is a host researcher from Finland, who plans a research project together with an invited researcher and submits the application to the Academy. In case of your interest, we propose the following next steps:
- Until 30 June 2022 we will be waiting for CVs and motivation letters from potential candidates (the sooner we receive these the better, because the call closes when the funding has been fully allocated).
- Based on this information we will identify the INAR hosts who will start preparing applications in early July. Naturally, these applications should be related to one or several INAR’s research topics (https://www.helsinki.fi/en/inar/research/research-themes).
